Kings College Budo is located about 12km west of Kampala, in Nsangi subcounty, Wakiso District. Founded in 1906 by the Church Missionary Society on land donated by the Kabaka of Buganda, the school initially trained sons of Kings and Chiefs. It started as a boys’ school and became co-educational in 1934, admitting girls. Today, it operates as a government-aided A-Level mixed boarding school under the Church of Uganda, Namirembe Diocese. With over a century of history, Budo continues to uphold its tradition of excellence and leadership development.
