Curriculum:

Nile High School Mukono is working towards a Vision of imparting quality knowledge by producing God fearing, responsible and life skillled citizens. Nile High School is located twenty six (26) km from Uganda’s Capital City Kampala on the main road to Jinja. In Mukono Municipal Council at Dandira about 1.5km on Mukono – Kyetume Katosi Road.

History: Nile High School was established to supplement Governments’ effort of providing Secondary education to the youth in the East and Central African region after realizing that there was a high demand for this type of education in the region. Nile High School started in
2001, incorporated as a private Limited Company in March 2004. It was licensed on 20th August 2001 under License No. NE/22/2496 and registered and classified by Ministry of Education and Sports on March 2002 under registration No. PSS/134. The school was given a Uganda National Examinations Board Number U1365 in 2002.

The school is a Boarding and Day mixed school, which offer both Sciences and Arts at both ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level.

[related_posts]Academics: Nile High School offers a very rich and balanced curriculum and this helps students choose their career paths very easily and at an early stage. This is done by all teachers from time to time supported by careers days where resourceful persons are invited to address the students about their professions.

Facilities: At Nile High School, students make use of the well equipped Computer Laboratory, Games fields, Fish ponds, Farm (Cattle, goats, pigs, poultry), to further foster their knowledge and endeavours in education. The School trucks offer easy transport for the students to excursions, trips and field studies. In case of a medical emergency, we maintain a School Sick bay with medication and a full-time nurse.

Extra-Curricular: The extra curricular activities that are available at the school for all students include sports and games, music, dance and drama. Clubs such as Scripture union, wild life, scouting, debating, creative writes, Youth Link, Interact, Leos and Red Cross are also active at the school. The school provides facilities to ensure that students are physically fit and that talents are utilized and fully developed. Sports available at the school are; soccer, volleyball, basketball, netball, table tennis, chess, darts, pooltable, athletics.
