Curriculum:

Tropical High School is a day, mixed and private senior secondary school for both Oand A level students. In addition to teaching the liberal Arts, all science subjects including Agriculture, and vocational subjects such as Computer education, Art and Design are taught. Tropical High School has both Oand A level Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) Center whose number is (U0965). Tropical High School is also registered with the ministry of education and sports (MOE&S) under the registration number PSS/T/13.

Subjects offered: Tropical High School offers the following subjects; Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Commerce, Economics, Computer, C.R.E, History, Agriculture, Luganda, Islam, Art and Design, Swahili, Literature and Entrepreneurship.

Tropical High School is one of the East and Central Africa’s finest schools. It has adequate facilities for excellent teaching/learning, sports and games. Tropical High School provides a conducive environment for molding well-rounded characters. It is open to all individuals, regardless of nationality and religious affiliation or gender.

History: Tropical High School was established on the 12th day, of February, 1996 at Kabalagala central zone – Makindye division. It was founded by professional teachers namely: Mr.Busuulwa Felix, M/s Nakato Rose, Mr.Bazibu Micheal Kagawa and Rev.Fr.David Lwanga (late); may his soul rest in peace.
