Kakira Estate Primary School, formerly known as Quilliam School, was established to serve the children of company workers at Madhvani Sugar Limited (now Kakira Sugar Limited). The school began in a community hall modified into small classrooms and later expanded with the construction of a four-classroom block with a head teacher’s office. By 2001, additional facilities including a two-classroom block, an administration block, and five staff quarters were constructed. In 2013, a pre-primary section was introduced under the leadership of Head Teacher Mrs. Benna Ayomo.
