The school does not receive government grants and relies entirely on modest tuition fees, carefully set to remain affordable for local families. The school has a strong record of academic achievement, with students consistently ranking among the top performers in national examinations within the Kampala district.
The school follows the national curriculum and emphasizes both academic rigor and holistic development. Despite limited access to textbooks and educational resources, Kiddawalime Preparatory School has maintained a strong academic reputation, demonstrating that dedication and structured teaching can yield excellent results.
Kiddawalime Preparatory School was founded in 1990 in a residential home, beginning with just 29 students. The founding staff, led by Head Teacher Mathias Kibuuka, worked tirelessly to earn the trust of the local community. Through personal savings, Mr. Kibuuka acquired land and constructed permanent classrooms, enabling the school to grow steadily to its current enrollment of over 500 students.
