Add School Suggest Edits Claim School Email usNgora High School is one of eight new PEAS secondary schools in Uganda that opened to students on 4th February 2013. It is the first secondary school in Ngora Sub County.
PEAS (Promoting Equality in African Schools) builds secondary schools in areas where the need is greatest. Ngora Sub County is precisely one of those areas – before Ngora PEAS school opened its doors to students in February 2013, there was no other opportunity for children in living in this sub county to gain a life-changing secondary education.
[related_posts]The school serves 423 eligible primary school leavers per year within a 7km catchment area. These potential students come from nine primary schools in Ngora sub county, three in Mukura sub county and four in Kapir sub county. This is in great excess of the 250 primary leavers who have nowhere to continue their education that PEAS requires to establish a school.
