Budo Junior School was officially established as a new site on 30th June 1958, located on 10 acres of land at Kabinja – Budo. The school opened its doors with an initial enrollment of 300 pupils and operates under the Governing Body of the Church of Uganda (Anglican Church). The core purpose for founding Budo Junior School was originally to train the children of Nobles and Kings, a tradition of distinction we continue to honor.
While historically rooted in serving royal and noble families, Budo Junior School later extended its opportunity to the children of all citizens. Our mission remains focused on training young learners to become honest, trustworthy, sympathetic, patriotic, and respectful citizens, instilling core values that prepare them for a life of purpose and contribution.
