Founded in 1945, the school began with a single class focused on Catholic religious studies. Over the decades, it has evolved into a government-aided, full primary institution offering education from nursery through grade seven. The school currently serves 493 students supported by 8 dedicated teachers. With the help of government funding through the School Facility Grant, Bugambe BCS Primary School constructed and furnished 6 classrooms, an office, and a storage room between 2004 and 2006. Academic performance continues to grow, thanks to the dedication of both teachers and learners.
