Cosna Daycare Nursery and Primary School, located in Uganda, is a Catholic-founded, inclusive institution offering education from Daycare to Primary 7. Established as a day and boarding school, Cosna has been preparing Primary 7 students for the Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) since 2012, with a track record of consistent success. Guided by our mission to serve the nation by improving community lives through quality education, and our vision to produce self-sustaining citizens while providing equal opportunities to both unprivileged and privileged children, we welcome students of all religions. Our nurturing environment, supported by dedicated matrons who cater to age-specific needs, ensures a balanced approach to academic, spiritual, and personal growth, fostering responsible and capable future leaders.

Academics

The school has got a bursary scheme in which the first three best performers academically i.e 1st, 2nd and 3rd pupils per class per term are given scholarships.

School Environment

We have enough and spacious classrooms with very good learning environment for all our pupils. A three level classroom block for primary section has been to cater for the increasing numbers at the school.

Facilities

The school provides transport to the pupils. The school has school vans and a Coaster which transports its pupils from their homes to school and back to their homes hence an efficient system.

Boarding Section

The school has a boarding section with a very good living environment. There are matrons who look after the pupils according to their age groups (For more details come to the office in person.)

Water Supply

We have six tanks which supply water the school. This water is pumped from the dam to ensure continuous smooth flow activities in the school.

Meals

We provide pupils with break and lunch. At break time, we give then a cup of porridge, milk and snack daily. At lunch time we provide posho, rice, cassava, sweet potatoes with beans , meat and g. nuts slew.
