Nateete Junior School is a private mixed day and boarding primary school located along Sembera Road, Church Zone, Nateete Parish, Lubaga Division, Kampala, Uganda. Strategically situated just 15 minutes from the city center, the school has access to electricity, tap water, telephone lines, and convenient transport. It is proud to be associated with the historic Alexander Mackay first classroom – the Cave, where in the 19th century he taught the king’s pages the basics of reading and writing.

Registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports (UNEB No. 130598), Nateete Junior School offers the full primary school curriculum. Nateete Junior School History

Founded on 11th January 2000 by Jackson Ssembatya Ddungu, the school started as a pre-primary institution with just 17 pupils and 4 teachers. Today, Nateete Junior School has grown to accommodate 455 pupils aged 3 to 13, supported by a team of 23 dedicated teachers. The school’s mission is to provide a strong foundation for the acquisition of morals, knowledge, and skills that foster self-reliance and responsible citizenship. Its motto, “Education is Wisdom,” reflects the school’s commitment to lifelong learning and excellence.
