Curriculum:

Kings College Budo is located about 12km west of Kampala, in Nsangi subcounty wakiso district. It was founded in 1906 by the Church Missionary Society. It was founded on land donated by the Kabaka (King) of Buganda.
The original vision was to train sons of Kings and Chiefs, therefore it began as a boys school. In 1934, girls were admitted as well, thus became co-educational. It is now a government aided A- Level mixed Boarding school under Church of Uganda of Namirembe Diocese.

The school is rated as one of the consistently performing academic institutions in our country. Academics is and will continue to be our primary focus at school as we endeavor to uphold our high standards and the resulting sound academic performances from year to year. We pay tribute to our teachers who have the qualifications and experience to reach and maintain the academic expectations that we set for ourselves.

Curriculum

Kings College develops girls and boys to tackle challenges of life beyond school. Our academic program sequentially develops young minds to think in a more rounded manner that places concepts and skills ahead of content, through critical thinking and reflection. Students here follow the Current National Curriculum of Uganda.

The school’s curriculum and syllabus is developed to instill a love of learning. We also embed our school values to help students develop positive attitudes and habits for lifelong learning.
