Kisoro Vision Secondary School is a premier mixed day and boarding school located in Kamonyi Village, Kisoro Town Council, South Western Uganda. Situated just 300 meters off Kisoro–Kabale Road and approximately 1 km from Kisoro town, the school provides a serene and conducive learning environment for both boys and girls.

Licensed by the Ministry of Education and Sports, Kisoro Vision combines discipline, hard work, and academic rigor to prepare students for a bright and successful future. Kisoro Vision Secondary School Academics

Kisoro Vision Secondary School offers a comprehensive curriculum for both O’ Level and A’ Level students, providing a wide range of subjects in arts and sciences. At the O’ Level, students study core subjects including mathematics, English, literature in English, physics, chemistry, biology, agriculture, geography, history, French, accounts, commerce, entrepreneurship, fine art, computer studies, and Christian religious education.

At the A’ Level, students have the opportunity to specialize in subjects such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, agriculture, geography, literature in English, history, economics, entrepreneurship, fine art, CRE, ICT, French, subsidiary mathematics, and general paper. The school’s academic programs are designed to cultivate critical thinking, creativity, and practical skills while preparing students for success in national examinations and higher education.

Kisoro Vision Secondary School Co-curricular

Kisoro Vision Secondary School emphasizes holistic development through a variety of co-curricular activities that complement academic learning. Students actively participate in sports including football, volleyball, netball, athletics, and rugby, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and resilience.

The school also offers clubs and creative programs such as the wildlife club, straight talk club, environmental club, drama club, Young Christian Students (YCS), Scripture Union, and a music, dance, and drama club called The Extravaganza. These activities encourage leadership, creativity, social responsibility, and personal growth, ensuring that students develop into well-rounded individuals capable of contributing meaningfully to society.

Kisoro Vision Secondary School Facilities

Kisoro Vision Secondary School provides modern and well-maintained facilities to support academic excellence and extracurricular engagement. The boarding facilities are spacious and secure, accommodating approximately 800 boys and 600 girls in comfortable double-decker beds. Sanitation is well managed, with student toilets and pit latrines, while staff use waterborne flushing toilets. The school has four rainwater harvest tanks supplemented by pumped water, ensuring consistent water supply across the campus, including in the science laboratory.

The kitchen and dining facilities are equipped for food preparation, with attached food stores and residential rooms for kitchen staff. In addition, the school is developing sports grounds, including football pitches, to promote physical education and recreational activities. These facilities create a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for students to thrive academically, socially, and physically.

The school is a non-denominational institution founded by Munyambabazi Dan Deric and Hakizumwami Buker Washington, both highly qualified educators with experience in administration, guidance, and counseling.
