Co-Curricular: Basketball, tennis, volley and football, darts as well as chess are some of the co-curriculum activities offered among others for the growing number of students and their varied talents.

Facilities: Jinja College has aimed at providing adequate and decent accommodation facilities for both students and staff. Library facilities have been provided plus a computer, biology, physics and chemistry lab.

Jinja College | JICO History

History: Jinja college school was founded by the mill-hill missionary fathers who moved to occupy the premises on Rubaga hill near Jinja town which had been vacated by Franciscan sisters. Jinja College has a strong academic culture and has established a good reputation alongside it. As s government aided school, Jinja College’ new students at O’ and A’ level go through the UNEB selection for admission.

They prepare students to deal with the rapid technological changes, solve problems and become acquainted with facts and opinions to acquire necessary information. Their courses foster values such as honesty, integrity, self-respect, responsibility and active participation in their society and community. These traits are reinforced in extracurricular activities, athletics and other events around the College.
