Greenhill Academy is a multi-campus Christian-founded school in Kampala, Uganda, offering Nursery, Primary, and Secondary education. Established in 1994 by the late Janet Nsibirwa Mdoe and the late Gladys Nsibirwa Wambuzi, the school began with just 35 students along Mbogo Road, Kibuli. Today, Greenhill Academy has grown into a renowned educational institution with over 5,500 students across two campuses in Kibuli and Buwaate, nurturing learners from diverse backgrounds and consistently achieving stellar examination results.
Greenhill Academy follows the Uganda National Curriculum (UNEB) for both Primary and Secondary levels. The curriculum is carefully designed to provide balanced education with an emphasis on both academic and co-curricular growth:
Nursery & Primary (Kibuli & Buwaate): Offers a nurturing environment from Nursery (4 years) to P.7, promoting holistic cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Secondary (Kibuli): Offers O’ and A’ level education in Arts and Sciences for both day and boarding students. Pupils are encouraged to go beyond the curriculum, question, challenge, and develop a genuine love for learning.
Greenhill Academy provides a wide range of co-curricular activities to nurture creativity, leadership, and teamwork. Students are exposed to sports, arts, music, drama, and other enrichment programs that stimulate their talents and holistic growth.
Greenhill Academy operates two campuses: Kibuli and Buwaate, serving learners from diverse backgrounds and nurturing them to achieve exceptional examination results. The school combines traditional Christian values—spirituality, discipline, hard work, creativity, and teamwork—with a forward-looking approach to education. Greenhill Academy emphasizes holistic development, ensuring students are intellectually, emotionally, and socially prepared for life.
