At O’Level, students study English, Literature in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture, Home Economics, Geography, History, Commerce, C.R.E./I.R.E, Luganda, Principles of Accounts, Political Education, Fine Art, Music, Computer Studies, German, and Technical Drawing/Woodwork.
At A’Level, subject combinations include History, Geography, Economics, Divinity, Literature, Luganda, French, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Food and Nutrition, and Fine Art.

Mackay Memorial College is located in Nateete, a vibrant suburb of Kampala within Rubaga Division, just 8 kilometers from the city center off Masaka Road. The school sits in the vicinity of Mackay Church of Uganda in Natete Church Zone, providing a serene and accessible learning environment. Since its establishment, the college has grown into a leading institution in Central Uganda with an enrollment of approximately 700 students and a dedicated team of 56 staff members — 41 teachers and 15 support personnel. Its mission is “to develop students with a strong sense of responsibility, fear of God, respect for social values, academic excellence, personal integrity, creativity, self-reliance, entrepreneurship, high esteem, and self-criticism through intensive, interactive, and invitational teaching.” The school’s vision, “Striving for Excellence,” continues to guide its holistic approach to education.
