St. Edward’s Secondary School, Bukuumi, is a government-aided, mixed day and boarding secondary school in Kakumiro District, offering both O-Level and A-Level education. Founded in 1945 by the White Fathers as a boys’ junior school intended to feed sister colleges such as St. Mary’s College Kisubi and Namilyango College, management passed to the Brothers of Christian Instruction in 1948, who continue to run the school today under the motto “Honor Et Labor.”
