Uplands High School, Mutundwe started in January 2001 with 110 students as a private licensed school. It was started by Mr. Noah, K. Luboyera Semugoma, son of late Rev. Festus Luboyera who was also professionally a teacher. In 2006, the school acquired land 100 meters from its former premises which were being rented and has been able to build its own premises with classes, Administration block, computer room, kitchen and latrines. Uplands High School, Mutundwe complex is yet to be completed.
