Curriculum:

Wampewo Ntakke Secondary School is a Church of Uganda founded and a Government aided Secondary school. It is a day school but offers accommodation facility to students who come from very far and would like to live near the school and benefit from the rich curriculum offered by the school. Wampewo Ntakke Secondary School is located 8kilometres along Kampala Gayaza road in a peri urban setting with a very high population density around it.

Mission: Wampewo Ntake Senior Secondary School mission is to offer affordable and quality education for all, for moral and spiritual development and academic excellence.

Wampewo Ntakke Secondary School History

Wampewo Ntakke Secondary School was founded in 1966 by Stanley Semwanga who was a teacher of Gayaza Central primary school, now Wampewo day and Boarding Primary School. Wampewo Ntakke secondary school was founded under the church of Uganda as a Technical college to provide technical skills to Wampewo Primary School leavers. The founder had a passion for the pupils and thought of a way to help these poor pupils access lifelong training that will equip them with skills of employability and to enable them fit in the society even when they drop out of school.

Wampewo Ntakke Secondary School currently has a student population of 1,200 pupils and employs about 60 teaching staff and 20 non-teaching staff.
